We have finally arrived at spring training as Atlanta Braves pitchers and catchers report to camp today. It should be a really interesting training camp for the Braves with some new faces on the roster and some competition for key spots. Earlier, we wrote up some of the more important storylines for the Braves heading into spring training this year. For those of you making the trek to Florida to watch some spring training games, get some autographs, or just to escape the winter weather, here is a quick spring training primer we threw together where you can find the schedule of games and other important spring training tidbits.

One of the first things you may notice this spring other than the new guys like Sean Murphy on the team this year is the rules changes that are being implemented in baseball starting in 2023. Those changes include a pitch clock, limits on the shift, and bigger bases. To help parse what they all are and start to get a sense of what they could mean for the Braves, here is a rundown of the changes we put together.

After leaving the Marlins organization because it is hard to run a baseball team as it turns out, folks wondered what Derek Jeter next move would be. Now we know for certain as Jeter is getting into the broadcast game as a studio analyst for Fox Sports in 2023. Jeter previously did some work with the Fox Sports crew last postseason and it looks like it was a good fit.

While we wait for news from spring training around the league, here is a look at one of the favorites in the 2023 World Baseball Classic: Team Dominican Republic. This roster is absolutely loaded with veterans and young stars on both sides of the ball and, frankly, appears as though they will be tough to beat.
