Society has long been in the digital age where streaming is the vast consumption of entertainment. For the most part, live sports has been available on numerous streaming options like YouTubeTV and such. However, Major League Baseball has been behind the curve in this department, leaving fans constantly frustrated with absurd cable pricing and TV blackouts. Atlanta Braves fans can attest to that perhaps more so than any fanbase in baseball.

Thankfully, Braves fans finally have an alternate streaming option as of this morning. FanDuel Sports Network (formerly Bally Sports) announced a partnership with Prime Video that will allow fans to watch live Braves game when they sign up for the add-on subscription of $19.99 per month.

FanDuel Sports Network announces partnership with Prime Video

Earlier this month, the Braves announced a subscription offer directly through the FanDuel Sports app for $19.99 per month. Just over a week later fans will have the opportunity to enjoy those same live Braves broadcasts through the Prime Video app as well.

Whichever streaming option you decide, subscribing for six months brings a total cost to $120. Basically less than a dollar per game is obviously much preferred to the monthly cost cable providers generally charge.

Braves fans are already getting more spring training coverage than ever before in 2025, so it's nice to see more of these digital consumption options becoming available for regular season games as well. This partnership will be the first in-market streaming option available to Braves fans. I'm sure that will be met with a resounding applause, and numerous subscriptions to consume live baseball.

Plenty of teams around baseball have jumped on these streaming options so that they can get baseball to as many people in their fanbase. However, not every team has Ronald Acuna Jr., Spencer Strider, Chris Sale, Austin Riley, and countless others who can justify spending your hard earned money to watch live baseball.
