Since the inception of the Louisville Slugger Silver Slugger award in 1980, Atlanta Braves hitters have been fortunate enough to take home 40 of these awards. From Dale Murphy's run of four straight in the 1980s, to Brian McCann owning the NL catcher Silver Slugger in the late 2000s and early 2010s.
Through the last five decades there have been loads of heavy hitters on the Braves, but these are few we wish we could have seen on the same team.

Peak Brian McCann with the 2019 team
In 2019, the Braves took home three Silver Sluggers, with Freddie Freeman, Ozzie Albies, and Ronald Acuña Jr. all winning the award for first time. Of course, that was the season Brian McCann returned to the Braves to play one last season, but the B-Mac we saw in 2019 was a far cry from the dominant hitter he was back in his prime, as he only smacked 12 homers with an 85 OPS+.
Although we technically got to see McCann with the core of the late 2010s, we could only dream what the squad would have looked like if we could teleport the McCann from 2008 in, where the lefty-swinging catcher hit 23 bombs with a 135 OPS+.
Chipper Jones and Dale Murphy
Although the 1980s face of the franchise Dale Murphy did overlap with several members of the legendary 1990s teams, including Tom Glavine, Steve Avery, John Smoltz, and David Justice, his tenure with the Braves ended the very year they used the number one draft pick on Chipper Jones.
It would have been a long shot to ever see the pair play together, as Murphy's last game in 1993 came months before Jones's 1993 first cup of coffee, we still wonder what a prime Murphy and 1990s Chipper could have done together.
Max Fried and Tom Glavine
Unlike the others on this list, this is more of a rotational dream than a lineup dream. After all, Fried and Glavine could have never on a Silver Slugger in the same year, and would have never even been in the lineup together.
Still, Glavine has the second-most most Silver Sluggers won by a pitcher, while Fried happened to take home the final Silver Slugger ever awarded to a pitcher. Between their Silver Slugger history, and their performance in World Series clinching games, having the two lefties on the same squad is something we can only dream of.
