Even despite not having done much in terms of free agent signings this offseason, the Atlanta Braves are still set to enter the 2025 season among the highest team payrolls in all of baseball.

However, have you ever wondered just what contracts make up that payroll, and which of those are arguably the most team-friendly entering this season?

So, not factoring in both arbitration and pre-arbitration players, here is a ranking of the Braves current contracts from worst-to-best entering the year, as well as what each entails.

Ronald Acuña Jr., Ozzie Albies among best Atlanta Braves 2025 contracts

Riley is not only the Braves largest contract currently at a total of $212 million over 10 seasons from 2023-32, but the third baseman is also the player under team control the longest, signed through 2032 with a team option for 2033. Every season, Riley will make $22 million annually, which puts him among the top tier of third basemen across baseball.

Reynaldo López, Right-Handed Pitcher

Contract: 3 yrs/$30M, Signed through 2026 (Team option in 2027)

One of the Braves top free agent signings last offseason, López signed a three-year deal with Atlanta that will pay him $30 million through 2026. Carrying a team option for 2027, López is set to make $11 million in each of the next two seasons.

The Braves also have a pair of team options in 2031 and 2032, with Harris set to make $8 million each of the next two years.

Ronald Acuña Jr., Outfielder

Contract: 8 yrs/$100M, Signed through 2026 (Team option in 2027, 2028)

The top two contracts date back to 2019, the first of which is Acuña's eight-year deal through 2026 that amounts to $100 million. The Braves superstar outfielder is also making $17 million over each of the next two seasons prior to team options in 2027 and 2028, making this one of more team-friendly deals in the sport for a player the caliber of Acuña.

Ozzie Albies, Second Baseman

Contract: 7 yrs/$35M, Signed through 2025 (Team option in 2026, 2027)

Arguably the best current contract for the Braves is Albies', which was a seven-year, $35 million deal that was signed back in 2019, and runs through 2025 with a pair of team options in both 2026 and 2027. One of the top second basemen in baseball during this span, Albies is set to make $7 million this season.
