Answer: C.J. Nitkowski
This recent Braves hire spent his 10-year big league career bouncing around numerous clubs who needed a lefty reliever. His best season came in 1998 as a member of the Houston Astros, a year in which he had a sub 4.00 ERA and FIP.
He pitched 479 innings in his career, had an 18-32 record, 5.37 ERA, and 5.08 FIP. Nitkowski will join the Braves broadcast team this season, after working the past seven years on the Texas Rangers broadcast.
