We will give you five hints at a random player that donned an Atlanta Braves jersey and see if you can guess from there! Have fun and no cheating! Let us know how many hints it took. If you get this one, you'll win our respect. Here we go!

Hint #1: This player spent a total of 15 seasons in the MLB. He made apperances for the following teams: Houston Astros (Colt .45's), Los Angeles Dodgers, Atlanta Braves, New York Yankees and Milwaukee Brewers.

Hint #2: During his 15 year career, this player wore the following jersey numbers: 18, 24, 23 and 8. With the Atlanta Brave he wore number 24.

Hint #3: This player earned three all-star appearances (1967, 1974 and 1975). He finished 11th in Most Valuable Player voting in 1967, 15th in 1969 and 5th in 1974.

Hint #4: This player only spent one season with the Atlanta Braves. The majority of his 15 season career was spent with the Houston organization. He was with the club when they made the transition from the Colt .45s to the Astros in 1964.

Hint #5: This player's nickname was "The Toy Cannon". He was an outfielder that hit and threw right handed. He stood 5'10 and about 160 pounds.

Answer: Jim Wynn

Jim Wynn began his MLB career in 1963 at the age of 21 with the Houston Colt .45s. He spent 11 of his 15 seasons with the Houston organization, seeing them make the transition to the Astros.

Wynn spent one season with the Atlanta Braves later in his career in 1976. After three all-star appearances earlier in his career, Wynn hit .207 with the Braves with 17 home runs and 66 runs batted in.

Jim Wynn went on to spend half of the 1977 with the New York Yankees and the other half with the Milwaukee Brewers before coming to the decision of retirement. Wynn tragically passed away in March of 2020 due to cardiac arrythmia at the age of 78.
