The Atlanta Braves and Cincinnati Reds will play game two of their series at some point tonight. Unfortunately, it'll have to wait for the rain to clear out first. Sadly, it's more of the same for Atlanta, as they went through a postponement and rain delay each over the past weekend.

As of now their is no announced start time, but as always the team will provide updates as soon as they are available. Perhaps this is a blessing in disguise for fans though, as the Braves have been a real tough watch as of late.

Once they finally get underway the pitching matchup will be Chris Sale versus Nick Martinez. Sale will be making his first start of the second half after posting a marvelous All-Star first half. The Reds will send out changeup heavy pitcher, Nick Martinez. The 33 year-old veteran is enjoying a solid season as he comes into tonight's game with a sub 4.00 ERA.

As we know the Braves bats have been ice cold recently, so let's hope the players only team meeting held before the game can wake up the bats and lead to some runs against the veteran RHP.

To pass the time

Until the two ballclubs actually get underway we have some great content for you to catchup on. Firstly, the Braves announced a few roster moves after they placed Austin Riley on the paternity list. On top of that, the team announced that they have signed all 20 draft picks from the recent 2024 MLB Draft.
