Atlanta Braves fans were preparing for another great year at Braves Fest at Truist Park. It's one of the best experiences for fans and players to interact through unique experiences. This event is always free for fans and draws a very large crowd. Fans get to meet some of their favorite players, get autographs, and so much more. Unfortunately, Mother Nature had other plans in 2026.
The Braves announced on Friday that the event would be cancelled due to forecasted winter storm activity. The Southeast is inconveniently expected to receive another blast of icy/snowy weather on Saturday.

Atlanta makes tough decision to cancel Braves Fest as extreme cold barrels through Georgia this weekend
It's a tough decision, but everyone's safety has to be their top concern. Fans who purchased tickets to an autograph session will be contacted in the coming days with a plan to fulfill their purchases. There hasn't been any word on whether the Braves Foundation Gala on Friday evening has been cancelled. Fans can check the website for more information.
Not the best start to the 2026 season for fans, but spring training is just around the corner. There's not much longer until we are able to see the Braves in action. There are still plenty of exciting things happening at Truist Park this season.
Fans can experience many different promotional giveaways, meet Braves players on Alumni Sunday, and various other events. Atlanta recently revealed Braves Country Fest, which is a full day music festival that will take place on June 13.
This is extremely disappointing, and hopefully not a sign of things to come this year. Braves fans would like to have a break from all the injuries and bad news for once. Stay warm this weekend everyone!
