The Atlanta Braves have one of the most consequential drafts they have had in years when the 2026 MLB Draft gets underway this weekend. Atlanta has a top-10 pick for the first time since they picked Shea Langeliers back in 2019. In addition, Drake Baldwin winning Rookie of the Year netted the team an additional first-round pick, leaving the Braves with one of the higher draft bonus pools period in this year's class.
There will be plenty of time to parse the Braves' picks and to argue about who they should have taken instead (a time-honored tradition around draft time). However, the 2026 MLB Draft has seen some very big changes to the normal draft schedule in addition to the ways to watch the draft itself. Don't worry, we have you covered with all the details you need to know.
How to watch the 2026 MLB Draft: Schedule, Channels, Streaming Options
The biggest change to the draft broadcast this year is the start time. Instead of starting in the evening and USUALLY featuring the first couple of rounds of picks, the 2026 MLB Draft is starting on Saturday, July 11th, 2026 at 1 PM EST. The first days of the draft will consist of the first four rounds, and then Sunday will have rounds 5-20 in rapid fire fashion. Unfortunately, the changes are not limited to that, and fans will have to do some channel hopping to catch all the early picks. Here are all the 2026 MLB Draft broadcast details.
