The Atlanta Braves were lucky to have one of the best bullpens in baseball yet again in 2026. It was a bit of a revolving door, but the core of relievers who remained helped hold down the fort. Below we will take a look at how each key player fared during the regular season. Each reliever featured had a healthy chunk of innings pitched. Players like Aaron Bummer and Danny Young didn't last long enough to warrant writing about.

Ray Kerr also won't feature on this list since he didn't pitch more than 20 innings during the regular season. But he's worth mentioning since he was such a huge part of Atlanta's postseason during his two starts.

Here is how the Braves bullpen performed during the 2026 MLB season

Dylan Dodd, B

Dodd was a nice surprise out of the bullpen this season, and he received a bit of work in high-leverage spots. The lefty had a 2.54 ERA, 14 holds, two saves, 14 walks, and 53 strikeouts over 49.2 innings pitched. It seems Dodd may have found his place after struggling as a starter initially.

Didier Fuentes, A+

Fuentes made a name for himself in 2026 and should be in the Rookie of the Year conversation. Rightfully so, with a 2.45 ERA, 18 holds, three saves, 21 walks, and 92 strikeouts over 73.1 innings pitched. He was excellent out of the bullpen, but with how well he pitched, the Braves will try him back in the rotation next season.

Raisel Iglesias, A

Fans weren't sure what to expect from the aging closer in 2026, but he continued to be one of the best. Iglesias was 34-for-37 in saves this season, with a 2.55 ERA, 17 walks, and 73 strikeouts over 60 innings pitched. He may be worth another one-year contract for 2027.

Dylan Lee, C+

Lee had a heavy workload this season, but he looked good for most of it. The second half wasn't nearly as impressive as the first. However, he still ended the year with an impressive 3.09 ERA over 67 innings, including 31 holds, 17 walks, and 77 strikeouts. The workload ultimately caught up to him, and he wasn't as sharp in the postseason.

Reynaldo Lopez, D

Lopez was in the rotation for 13 starts this season, but he was much better as a reliever. When he was healthy, the right-hander had a 3.27 ERA over 22 relief innings, with 10 walks and 19 strikeouts. His velocity was way down this year, which puts his shoulder health into question. It may be time to move on from him.

Victor Mederos, C

Mederos wasn't great in his one chance in the postseason, but he was decent during the regular season. The righty had a 3.41 ERA, two holds, one save, 14 walks, and 34 strikeouts over 34.1 innings. He showed some flashes of talent, but there's some refining that needs to be done.

Robert Suarez, B

Atlanta's biggest offseason pickup was great until a forearm injury sidelined him for months. That's not something you want from a potential closer going forward if Iggy doesn't return. Still, he was one of the best relievers in baseball with a 1.06 ERA over 34 innings, including 12 holds, four saves, six walks, and 26 strikeouts. Hopefully, Suarez stays his dominant self next season.

Brent Suter, B

Suter brought a burst of energy to the Braves' clubhouse after he was acquired from the Angels. He wasn't having the best luck in LA, with an ERA over four. The Jeremy Hefner effect took care of things once he reached Atlanta. The lefty had a 1.63 ERA, eight walks, and 23 strikeouts over 27.2 innings. He should be a priority to return to the bullpen next season, especially with his ability to eat multiple innings.
