Full history of Atlanta Braves players in the World Baseball Classic

The Braves have quite a long history in the event.

The 2026 World Baseball Classic is approaching, and Atlanta Braves fans are excited to see some competitive baseball. They'll get to see a few of their favorite Braves players in action this year. Chadwick Tromp, Jurickson Profar, Ozzie Albies, and Ronald Acuna Jr. will all participate in the 2026 tournament. However, they aren't the only Atlanta players to have competed in this tournament since its inception.

The Braves have been lucky to feature some of the most talented players in MLB history. Atlanta has had a representative at every single tournament.

Here is every Braves player to participate in the World Baseball Classic in history (so far)

For this list, we have compiled all Braves players who featured on the MLB roster in their respective seasons. No minor league players were included in this list.

We looked at the WBC rosters for each year and found players who were currently on the Braves roster at the time. Some players have appeared with previous or future teams, but we are only including the times they participated as representatives for Atlanta.

As you see, there are a lot of talented players who have represented their individual countries over the last two decades. This year features some fan-favorites, and it's Ozzie Albies' first time competing in this event.

Hopefully, they all use this tournament to get themselves in good shape for the 2026 season. The last time Acuna participated, he took home the NL MVP. It would be nice to see that again. But we will take him being healthy for a full season. Anything else is a bonus.
