The 2026 World Baseball Classic is just a month a way, and MLB Network just revealed the rosters for all 20 teams on Thursday evening. While we already knew Atlanta Braves superstar Ronald Acuña Jr. would play for Venezuela, we weren't sure how just many Braves were planning to participate.

With all of the rosters out, let's look at current and former Braves playing and coaching in this year's World Baseball Classic.

Current and former Braves players playing (and coaching) in the 2026 World Baseball Classic

Team USA

There are no current Braves players representing team USA during this year's WBC, but Braves fans will recognize several names on the coaching staff. The United States coaching staff is littered with Braves connections, with former Braves utility player Mark DeRosa leading the pack as the manager.

Longtime Braves catcher Brian McCann is an assisnt coach on the squad, with his former Braves backup David Ross serving as the bullpen coach. Former Braves manager and third base coach Fredi Gonzalez joins McCann as an assistant coach, with George Lombard, who played with the Braves from 1998-2000 is serving as the first base coach.

Team Netherlands

Considering that the Braves have such a strong connection to Curaçao, a territory of the Netherlands, it's unsurprisingly that Team Netherlands is full of Braves players.

Both of the Braves Curaçao natives, Ozzie Albies and Jurickson Profar, will represent the Netherlands, as well as catcher Chadwick Tromp, an Aruba native, who re-signed with the Braves this spring to a minor league deal. Ray-Patrick Didder, a former Braves prospect, and Kenley Jansen, who was the Braves closer in 2022 will also represent the Netherlands.

Additionally, the club is managed by recently inducted Hall-of-Famer and Braves legend, Andruw Jones, who gets to manage his son, Druw, with Jair Jurrjens serving as the pitching coach. If You're looking for a second team to root for, Team Netherlands might as well be a secondary Braves team.

Team Venezuela

Ronald Acuña Jr. is the lone Brave on Team Venezuela, but he's almost certainly the highest profile player on the team. Venezuela only made it to the quarterfinals in 2023, and Acuña is certainly look to lead Venezuela further in the tournament in 2026. He's joined by Braves assistant hitting coach Carlos Méndez, who is serving as one of Venezuela's hitting coaches. Former Braves catcher William Contreras will be one of Venezuela's catchers.

Team Mexico

No current Braves will represent Team Mexico, but the coaching staff includes two former Braves in Vinny Castilla and Horacio Ramirez.

Team Canada

There are no current Braves on Team Canada, but former Braves fan favorite Michael Soroka is on the roster for the first time.

Team Panama

Javy Guerra, who signed a minor league deal with the Braves this offseason, is on Team Panama. Braves fans will also recognize Johan Camargo and Christian Bethancourt.

Team Puerto Rico

Martín Maldonado, who announced his retirement and joined the Braves this offseason as a special assistant for major-league operations, will be playing for Puerto Rico in the WBC. 2021 NLCS MVP Eddie Rosario is also on the team.

Team Colombia

No current Braves on Team Colombia, but six-time Braves Opening Day starter Julio Teheran is on the team, as well as 2024 Brave Gio Urshela.

Team Great Britain

Only one former Braves player is on Team Great Britain, with Michael Petersen representing the team. Most Braves fans have forgetten about him despite playing on the 2025 Braves, as he only made four spot appearances in the first half of the season. Former Braves prospect Tristan Beck is also on the team.

Team Italy

No current Braves, but fans will recognize manager Francisco Cervelli, who played for Atlanta in 2019, as well as bullpen coach Sal Fasano, who was on the Braves coaching staff from 2018 through 2024.

Team Israel

No current Braves, but former Braves pitcher Jason Marquis will act as Team Israel's bullpen coach.

Team Korea

Dane Dunning is the only player on Team Korea with a connection to the Braves. The righty pitched for the club during the second half of last season. Ha-Seong Kim would have likely represented the team before suffering an unfortunate wrist injury.

Team Nicaragua

Former Braves Dusty Baker and Randall Simon are on Team Nicaragua's coaching staff, with Baker acting as the manager and Simon acting as the hitting coach.

Team Chinese Taipei

2025 Braves outfielder Stuart Fairchild is Atlanta's lone connection to the Chinese Taipei team.

The rest of the field

Team Australia, Team Czechia, Team Brazil, Team Cuba, Team Dominican Republic and Team Japan do not have any Braves connections.
