The Atlanta Braves sure have had an interesting 24 hours. A rain-suspended game turned into a loss, Michael Harris II suffered a back injury, and now they prepare for a second game. Atlanta couldn't find a way to solve Robbie Ray and the Giants in game one of their double header. It was a pretty tough game to watch, but there's time to turn things around.
After the game, the Braves made a roster move to provide some relief for Drake Baldwin, who just returned from injury. Anthony Molina was optioned to Gwinnett, with Carlos Carrasco taking his spot on the roster. Catcher Jair Camargo was recalled to be the extra man for game two of the doubleheader. Most likely, he will serve as backup to Sandy Leon for this game. No reason to present an opportunity for Baldwin to have to sit behind the dish again today.
This move was pretty underwhelming, but it's important to keep everyone as fresh and healthy as possible. Unfortunately, there was another update after the game on Ronald Acuña Jr. that isn't ideal. Acuña Jr. is currently on the injured list with a hamstring issue for the second time this season. Manager Walt Weiss revealed on Wednesday that, unfortunately, Acuña Jr. isn't close to returning.
Weiss said Acuña is a “long way” from returning. Because the hamstring strain is in the same spot, the Braves will be more cautious than they were when Acuña missed nearly three weeks with the previous strain

Ronald Acuña Jr. is not going to be coming back to the Braves anytime soon
The Braves are apparently being more cautious with their superstar since his strain is in the exact same spot. That means Atlanta will be without their outfielder for a month at minimum.
It's a bummer, especially with how well the season has started for the Braves. These nagging injuries are starting to have an effect on the team a bit. Braves fans have experienced enough hardship from injury troubles last season. The last thing anyone wants is for that to become the norm again.
Yes, Acuña Jr. has struggled this season even when he's on the field. However, his presence makes a huge difference. It felt great getting Baldwin back and seeing him make an immediate impact. Unfortunately, that's been overshadowed by more disappointing injury news.
