Even in rough seasons as far as wins and losses go, individuals who perform can still earn recognition once the season concludes. This is the case for several Atlanta Braves players who were named finalist at their positions for the 2025 All-MLB team. Voting for the All-MLB team opened recently (concludes on October 10th) and some notable Braves stars found their way onto the list.

The selections for the All-MLB team will be announced on November 13, so get your votes in while you can as fan voting accounts for 50% of the official determination for these honors. Many current postseason players are littered throughout the list, but a couple Braves have a case for earning the approval from fans, media, and their peers.

The man with the best chance to earn a first team selection is Braves first baseman Matt Olson. The iron man of the Braves finished the season with the highest fWAR (4.7) amongst qualified first baseman. Olson's .850 OPS partnered with his excellent defense (9 OAA ranked first amongst all first baseman) should have him in the conversation for the first team selection.

Ronald Acuna Jr. earned a nomination for the outfield group despite playing in just 95 games this season. Ronald was amazing per usual when he was on the field, but his limited size of production will make it hard for him to earn a selection this season. Aaron Judge, Juan Soto, and Corbin Carroll figure to be the top three guys in line for All-MLB selections this year. Hopefully, with a full season of normal Ronald Acuna Jr. production the former MVP can find his way back into this group next year.

In a similar situation, Braves ace Chris Sale earned a nomination despite throwing just 125 innings this season. Sale was brilliant after his slow start (by his standards) and finished the season with a 2.58 ERA and 2.67 FIP. Five starting pitchers will be selected for each team with the first team group presumably headlined by Cy Young favorites Tarik Skubal and Paul Skenes.

The final nomination is perhaps the most satisfying, rookie Drake Baldwin. The NL Rookie of the Year hopeful posted a .810 OPS this season which was good enough for top five amongst the finalists. Of course AL MVP hopeful Cal Raleigh will be taking home the first team honors, but Baldwin has a great case for second or third team honors.
