Hanging over the start of the 2026 season for Atlanta Braves fans has been exactly how to watch them play games on TV at home. The streaming options are fairly straightforward, but the Braves had not finalized any distribution agreements with cable carriers other than Spectrum. With as many Comcast, DirecTV, and other customers that are in Braves Country, that was looking like it was going to be a big problem.
However, the team kept reassuring everyone who would listen that they would have distribution deals in place by Opening Day, and fans shouldn't worry. Thankfully, the Braves made some real progress finally. On Thursday, it was announced that BravesVision will indeed be carried on Comcast for the 2026 season on channel 1254.

Braves finally have a distribution deal with Comcast for BravesVision, and now things are looking much brighter
Hopefully, there were not too many fans who bought a streaming package of some sort to cover themselves and make sure they could watch games, but this change got announced early enough for that to be little more than a minor annoyance. Throughout the southeast, Braves games should be able to be watched without blackout restrictions (sorry, Florida fans, no ideal solution for you, yet).
With this deal combined with the rumored impending deal with DirecTV as well, BravesVision's reach is pretty impressive for a network that basically didn't exist a month and a half ago. There was certainly a good bit of anxiety among fans who weren't sure they would be able to afford to watch Atlanta's games, and now most of those worries should subside.
Just like that, 24 hours from now, the Braves will begin their season against the Royals. While the team itself has a lot of unanswered questions at the moment, at least we know how to watch them now.
