The Atlanta Braves have rebuilt their farm system into one of the most exciting in baseball. Some of that talent has found its way to the majors this season like JR Ritchie and Owen Murphy. They have both struggled a bit at the MLB level, but that's to be expected. There is still development to be had, but they have shown enough at the minor league level to prove they are close to being MLB-ready.
2026 featured some incredible performances by Braves' minor leaguers. A few players made names for themselves and deserve recognition for how well they've performed. Below is a list of All-Star-worthy MiLB Braves players from this season.

Catcher - Adam Zebrowski
Zebrowski was selected by Atlanta in the 2021 MLB Draft and he's not had much success. However, 2026 was his best season yet. he slashed .255/.333/.551 with 13 doubles, 22 homers, 61 RBI, and an .884 OPS across two levels.
First Base - David McCabe
The former Charlotte University standout had his best minor league season in 2026. McCabe had an incredible .294/.375./.556 slash line with 13 doubles, 20 homers, 67 RBI, and a .931 OPS. He only got better after moving from Double-A to Triple-A, and the switch hitter looks like a great DH option for the Braves next season.
Second Base - Tate Southisene
Atlanta's top pick from 2025 was outstanding this year with a .278/.408/.467 slash line, 18 doubles, 12 homers, 45 stolen bases, 46 RBI, and an .875 OPS over three levels. The Braves' third-best prospect continued to show excellent bat control and speed on the bases. It's exactly what the team hoped to see from their top pick.
Third Base - Jordan Groshans
Groshans has played really well over the last two seasons. However, this was the first season for the former top Blue Jays prospect with the Braves. The righty slugger really showcased his power this season with 21 doubles, 33 homers, a .576 slugging percentage, and a .915 OPS.
Shortstop - Alex Lodise
Lodise moved up three levels in his second MiLB season, and the shortstop took some impressive strides. His power unlocked and his approach at the plate looked much better. The defensive acumen also continued to be a strong suit for Lodise. He has performed exactly as the Braves hoped he would.
Outfield - Eric Hartman
Hartman exploded onto the scene in 2026, and became Atlanta's top-ranked prospect. His speed and power at the plate propelled him into that spot. Hartman slashed .249/.350/.456 with 21 doubles, 26 homers, 56 stolen bases, 74 RBI, and an .806 OPS between High-A and Double-A. Hartman did struggle a bit at Double-A, but overall a fantastic season.
Outfield - Conor Essenburg
Essenburg had some of the best power and on-base percentage in the system this year. He had a .265/.416/.493 slash line, with 20 doubles, 17 homers, 62 RBI, 86 walks to 127 strikeouts, and a .909 OPS. He still needs some development but the future looks bright.
Outfield - Patrick Clohisy
Clohisy had some incredible defensive highlights this season, and honestly could have made an impact for the big league club. He slashed .290/.372/.457 with 29 doubles, 10 homers, 51 RBI, 62 stolen bases, and an .829 OPS. His ability to get on base and wreak havoc with his speed is something Atlanta could utilize next season.
Designated Hitter - John Gil
Gil was a hitting machine this season with 132 of them, including 15 doubles, 14 homers, and a .749 OPS. He also flashed some speed on the bases with 60 steals on the season. That contact ability along with his speed, will definitely make a strong case for his future with the team.
Starting Pitcher - Cam Caminiti
Caminiti continued to pitch like a top-three prospect this season. He had a 3.38 ERA over 114 innings, with 53 walks and 125 strikeouts. He was even better when promoted to Double-A with a 2.01 ERA over 31 innings.
Starting Pitcher - Daniel Brooks
Brooks' first minor league season went as well as anyone could have hoped. The righty had a 1.81 ERA over 49 innings with 16 walks and 73 strikeouts. He was mostly a reliever until he reached High-A Rome where he had three starts. The future is bright for Brooks.
Starting Pitcher - Davis Polo
Something clicked for Polo, the Colombia native, in 2026. He advanced all the way to Triple-A thanks to a 3.00 ERA over 129 innings, with 47 walks and 140 strikeouts this season. He's a name to watch going forward.
Starting Pitcher - Owen Murphy
Braves fans got a preview of Murphy at the big league level, and while that didn't go as planned, he was great in the minors. Murphy had a 3.61 ERA over 117 innings, with 52 walks and 121 strikeouts.
Starting Pitcher - Brett Sears
Sears had a 2.90 ERA over 124 innings, with 30 walks and 153 strikeouts. He advanced to Triple-A this year and he pitched the best once getting there, with a 1.73 ERA over 26 innings.
Relief Pitcher - Blake Burkhalter
Burkhalter transitioned to the bullpen this year, and it worked out very well for him. He recorded a 1.98 ERA over four minor league levels, with two saves, 14 walks, and 50 strikeouts over 41 innings. This allowed him to touch 98 mph on his fastball much more often and put away batters thanks to that impressive carry through the zone.
