The Atlanta Braves enter Tuesday with the best record in Major League Baseball, but that hasn’t stopped fans from keeping a close eye on the organization’s developing talent in the minor leagues. While Atlanta has not recently been regarded for having one of baseball’s deepest farm systems, several prospects within the organization have emerged as notable risers throughout the 2026 season.

As a result, some fans are already identifying potential contributors who could help the major league club this season if the organization is forced to tap into its depth. In addition, the combination of high-end tools and consistent production from several prospects may become too difficult for the front office to ignore. Here are a few prospects who fans are excited about possibly debuting for Atlanta in 2026.

Here are the Braves prospects that we could still see make their MLB debuts this season

Owen Murphy

It is evident the Braves remain highly confident in their 2022 first-round pick, Owen Murphy. Although Murphy has not produced eye-catching numbers during the 2026 season, the organization still promoted him to Gwinnett Stripers just a few weeks ago, signaling its continued belief in his long-term potential.

Murphy’s unique fastball metrics provide a strong foundation for him to develop into a quality major league starter. While his command was uncharacteristically inconsistent early in the 2026 season, his most recent outing marked a step in the right direction. The stuff has continued to play up for Murphy this season as he further distances himself from the Tommy John surgery he underwent in 2024. If he begins to find consistent rhythm with the Stripers, expect the Braves' No. 6 prospect to receive an opportunity to showcase his unique fastball at the major league level.

Lucas Braun

The Braves' No. 9 prospect is right-handed pitcher Lucas Braun, a starter whose deep five-pitch arsenal has consistently kept hitters off balance. Braun has shown the ability to command all of his offerings within the strike zone, and while none of his pitches are currently considered a true plus offering, his overall command and ability to sequence pitches have allowed him to make significant strides within the organization over the past few seasons.

Through six starts this season with Gwinnett Stripers, Braun has posted a 3.72 ERA, though his strikeout numbers have been slightly below what the organization would ideally like to see. Still, the Braves have already relied on rookies JR Ritchie and Didier Fuentes this season, making it increasingly likely that another young arm could be called upon at some point during the summer.

Patrick Clohisy

Admittedly, Clohisy is not currently a prospect generating significant buzz among fans. However, he possesses a skill set that could prove highly valuable during the most critical stretch of the season. Clohisy is an elite baserunner, something he demonstrated by stealing 79 bases across two minor league levels during the 2025 season.

Come October, Clohisy could emerge as the ideal late-game weapon for manager Walt Weiss to deploy off the bench. While pinch-running options Jorge Mateo and Eli White are already on the roster, neither player’s spot can be considered guaranteed throughout the remainder of the 2026 season. If the Braves find themselves in need of a true base-stealing specialist during the postseason, Clohisy could quickly become the organization’s top candidate to fill that role.
