Focus on Atlanta Braves prospects often centers on the organization’s top-ranked talent. Cam Caminiti, Didier Fuentes, and Tate Southisene have each received considerable attention early in 2026. While that level of coverage is well deserved, lower-ranked prospects can be equally compelling to follow and evaluate.

In fact, the Braves’ No. 26 prospect, Patrick Clohisy, possesses one of the organization’s most elite tools. An 11th-round selection in 2024, Clohisy has been a constant threat on the basepaths from the moment he entered professional baseball. He amassed an impressive 101 stolen bases across the minor league season and the Arizona Fall League in 2025, and his baserunning impact has shown no signs of slowing early this season.

Patrick Clohisy continues to wreak havoc on the bases, could be a future weapon for the Braves

Equipped with plus speed, Clohisy’s primary developmental focus is refining his on-base skills. At 24 years old, he has opened the season with Double-A Columbus, where he currently holds a .270/.308/.405 slash line. Through 10 games, he has recorded four stolen bases, and his career success rate on the base paths continues to sit above the 80 percent mark.

Clohisy’s path to the majors is relatively clear: continue progressing as a hitter and defensive outfielder, maximize the impact of his plus speed, and position himself to earn an opportunity as a fourth or fifth outfielder at the big-league level. At present, Eli White fills that role for Atlanta, but in the coming seasons, it would not be surprising to see the club turn to Clohisy as a viable option.

There is potential for Clohisy to grow beyond a traditional Major League bench role, but reaching that ceiling will require more consistent hard contact at the plate. As it stands, his elite speed provides a relatively high floor as a dynamic weapon off a big-league bench—an outcome that would represent strong value for an 11th-round selection.
