One of the coolest scenes at a sporting event just occurred at Truist Park during the All-Star Game. The Atlanta Braves and Major League Baseball put together a magical piece of production to honor Hank Aaron after the conclusion of the sixth inning.
It was an eventful All-Star weekend, but many people are calling this moment the highlight of it all. The tribute video ran just under three minutes in length, but it was plenty of time to touch the hearts of baseball fans everywhere.
Projecting the footage of Aaron's iconic 715th home run, the tribute earned national praise from those who don't even follow baseball closely. The projection lighting, the vintage audio from the moment, the firework as 714 turns to 715 on the scoreboard, all of it was pure cinema.
This Hank Aaron tribute is one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen at a professional sporting event. Wow. pic.twitter.com/dhccLm06CV

Hank Aaron tribute hit Braves fans right in the feels
One of the coolest things about the tribute is the fact that Hank's amazing wife, Billye, was in attendance to witness the display. The image of Billye Aaron looking onto the field during the tribute is enough to make anyone start to tear up.
One thing was made clear this weekend, Atlanta was a spectacular host city for All-Star weekend and MLB needs to return sooner rather than later for another Midsummer Classic. Unfortunately, the next host city is set to be in the city of brotherly love, where the Philadelphia Phillies fans will be sure to shower any Braves' player with boos.
As for the All-Star game itself, baseball fans were calling it one of the best in years after the home run derby-style swing-off conclusion earned rave reviews. The only thing that could've made this better is if the swing-off wasn't represented by three NL East rival players, and the All-Star Game MVP didn't go to a Philadelphia Phillies star. Regardless, the tribute video for the legendary Hank Aaron will be remembered for years to come.
