The Atlanta Braves will take on the Baltimore Orioles early on Sunday for the series finale. It's been a tough series for Atlanta as this Orioles team is much better than many expected. There was a lot of good baseball played in this series.

Spencer Strider struck out 10 batters and Saturday's game featured a lot of back and forth between both teams offensively. However, with the Braves down 4-3, a pinch-hit two-run home run from Kevin Pillar ultimately won the game and allowed Raisel Iglesias to close it out with his first save of the season.

They will have some reinforcements on Sunday as, in a surprise announcement, Orlando Arcia was reinstated from the injured list and the Braves sent Vaughn Grissom back down to Gwinnett to make room on the active roster.

Game 3 pitching matchup for Braves vs Orioles

Bryce Elder (3-0, 1.75 ERA) will be taking the mound for Atlanta and achieving his fourth win of the season. Elder has proven time and time again now that he belongs in this starting rotation. His most recent start against the Marlins saw him go seven shutout innings allowing just three hits with six strikeouts. It's been impressive watching his progression from last season and watching his confidence grow each start.

He will be opposed by Orioles right-hander, Tyler Wells (2-1, 3.34 ERA), who was decent in his last start against the Royals. He finished that start with six innings of work allowing four runs on three hits with three walks and four strikeouts. He features a four-seam fastball, changeup, cutter, slider, and curveball.

If the first two games of this series are any inclination, Sunday's game will be another great one to watch. It is a nationally televised game but with an extremely early start as the action gets started at 11:35am EST.
