Over the months of August and September, the Atlanta Braves made a total of eight signings via free agency, as well as recently acquired a notable player through a trade. A group that includes impact players at the major league level, here is how each of those names has performed since joining the organization.

NOTE: Right-handed pitcher Yoel Correa was not included on this list, as he has yet to appear in a game with the organization.

Johan Ferreira, First Baseman

We begin in the lower levels of the Braves organization with Ferreira, whom Atlanta signed August 9. Shortly after, the 21-year-old joined the DSL Braves in which he appeared in six games, slashing a combined .091/.389/.091 with one RBI, one SB, and a 2:5 K:BB ratio.

Samil De La Rosa, Second Baseman

Also signing with Atlanta on August 9, De La Rosa saw action in five games with the DSL Braves. Over that span, De La Rosa slashed a combined .273/.467/.273 with one RBI, one SB, and a 2:3 K:BB ratio.

Euder Gonzalez, Right-Handed Pitcher

Gonzalez signed with Atlanta on August 12, with the 19-year-old shortly after reporting to the DSL Braves where he made his professional debut. The right-hander made only one appearance in which he allowed one earned run and three walks across 0.1 innings.

Gio Urshela, Third Baseman

The Braves biggest August free agency move likely came from signing Urshela, who has become the primary third baseman in the absence of the injured Austin Riley. Across 20 games since his signing August 20, Urshela has slashed .236/.257/.292 with five RBI and a 9:2 K:BB ratio.

Harold Ramirez, Outfielder

Ramirez signed with the Braves on August 23, and shortly after reported to Triple-A Gwinnett where he has remained since. Across 15 games with the Stripers, the outfielder slashed .254/.299/.302 with nine RBI and two SB, while also owning a 12:4 K:BB ratio.

John Brebbia, Right-Handed Pitcher

Signed by Atlanta on August 31, Brebbia, a veteran relief pitcher, has made three appearances with the Braves since joining the organization. Over that span, Brebbia has certainly made an impact as he owns a 0.00 ERA and a 5:2 K:BB ratio across five IP.

Tyler Matzek, Left-Handed Pitcher

Since making his return to the organization August 31, Matzek has made two appearances with the Triple-A Gwinnett Stripers. Over that span, Matzek owns a combined 9.00 ERA and a 1:1 K:BB ratio across two IP.

Cavan Biggio, Second Baseman

We conclude with the newest member of the Braves organization at the time of writing in Biggio, who was acquired by Atlanta on September 7. Biggio has since appeared in one game with both the major league club and Triple-A in which he is a combined 1-for-8 with a RBI.
