Answer: Ron Gant
Ron Gant began his MLB career with the Atlanta Braves in 1987 at the age of 22. Since he only appeared in 21 games that season, Gant carried his rookie status into the 1988 season where he shined.
He finished 4th in National League Rookie of the Year voting after posting a .259 batting average with 19 home runs and 60 runs batted in. Gant also stole 19 bases that season.
Gant had a successful 16 season big league career with 7 of those coming in an Atlanta Braves uniform. Ron Gant played for many different teams but it will be hard to remember him as anything but an Atlanta Brave.
