Peter Bourjos began his MLB career with the Angels in 2010 at the age of 23. Bourjos was never a superstar but he was most certainly a fan-favorite.
Bourjos was always one of those players who gave their best effort all the time. He was a great example for younger players to follow. Bourjos never won a Gold Glove Award but his defense was more than respectable.
In 2018, Bourjos played in 36 games for the Atlanta Braves as a role player, typically for defensive purposes. In those 36 games, he only had 47 plate appearances.
