Hint #4 (Braves Stats): This player was with the Braves in 2018. He only appeared in 36 games as a role player where he hit .205 with 1 home run and 4 runs batted in. He was put in games typically as a defensive replacement. 

Hint #5 (Random Fact): This player spent the majority of his career with the Los Angeles Angels (2010-2013 and 2019) through two separate stints.

Answer: Peter Bourjos

Peter Bourjos began his MLB career with the Angels in 2010 at the age of 23. Bourjos was never a superstar but he was most certainly a fan-favorite. 

Bourjos was always one of those players who gave their best effort all the time. He was a great example for younger players to follow. Bourjos never won a Gold Glove Award but his defense was more than respectable. 

In 2018, Bourjos played in 36 games for the Atlanta Braves as a role player, typically for defensive purposes. In those 36 games, he only had 47 plate appearances.
