Welcome to House That Hank Built’s latest series: Guessing random Atlanta Braves players from the past! We will give you five hints at a random player who donned an Atlanta Braves jersey and see if you can guess from there! Have fun and no cheating! Here we go! 

Hint #1: This player spent a total of 12 seasons in the MLB. During this time, he made appearances for the following teams: Chicago White Sox and Atlanta Braves 

Hint #2: During his 12 seasons in the big leagues, this player wore the following jersey numbers: 39, 17, 21, and 25. He wore 25 with the Braves.

Hint #3: This player did not make any All-Star appearances nor did he win a World Series. He was never considered for an individual award but was a solid player. 

Hint #4: This player was with the Braves from 2016 to 2020. During this stretch, he hit .251 with 40 home runs and 159 runs batted in. 

Hint #5: This player was a catcher who typically split time with other Atlanta backstops like Brian McCann and Travis d’Arnaud.

Answer: Tyler Flowers

Tyler Flowers began his MLB career in 2009 with the Chicago White Sox at the age of 23. He found himself with the Braves in 2016 through 2020 where he ended his career. 

Flowers was a solid contributor during his time with Atlanta. His experience in the league and game management skills shared knowledge with other players and he performed well during his 371 games in a Braves uniform.
