Dewayne Wise began his MLB career in 2000 with the Toronto Blue Jays. In 2004, he ended up with the Atlanta Braves and appeared in 77 games.

He hit .228 over this short stretch with the Bravos with 6 home runs and 28 RBI's to go along with 6 stolen bases. Wise had limited playing time due to the fact that J.D. Drew and Andruw Jones were part of the Atlanta outfield in 2004.
