Ozzie Virgil began his MLB career back in 1980 at the age of 23 with the Philadelphia Phillies. 6 of his 11 seasons in the big leagues were with Philadelphia.
In 739 career games, the catcher posted a .243 batting average to go along with 98 home runs and 307 runs batted in. One of Virgil's two all-star seasons came with the Atlanta Braves back in 1987.
