Answer: B.J. Surhoff
B.J. Surhoff was drafted in the first round of the 1985 draft out of the University of North Carolina. He made his debut in 1987 with the Brewers and joined the Atlanta Braves in 2000.
When Surhoff joined the Braves he was already at the tail end of his career and 35 years of age. Playing in only 210 games across 3 seasons with the Braves had Surhoff in a different role than he was back when he was an all-star for the Orioles.
