Answer: Blaine Boyer
Blaine Boyer was drafted in the third round of the 2000 MLB draft by his hometown Atlanta Braves. Boyer attended Walton High School in Marietta, Georgia. At the age of 23, he made his MLB debut in 2005 with the Braves. Boyer was with Atlanta until he made his way to St. Louis in the middle of the 2009 season.
During his time with the Braves, Boyer went 6-9 with a 5.46 ERA. After havig a fairly successful 2005 season, his Braves career ERA took a major hit due to a few bad outings and not having a chance at redemption.
In 2006, he gave up 3 earned runs in just 0.2 innings. He also only pitched 1.1 innings for Atlanta in 2009 before he was sent to St. Louis and in that short amount of time he surrendered 6 earned runs.
