Answer: Edgar Renteria

Edgar Renteria began his career with the Marlins in 1996. It was a full decade later when the shortstop made his arrival to the Atlanta Braves organization.

He spent the 2006 and 2007 seasons with the Braves, making an all-star selection in his first season with the club. Across these two seasons, Renteria posted a .310 batting average with 26 home runs and 127 runs batted in. His high average and excellent defense was exactly what the Braves were looking for from the shortstop.

Renteria entered the MLB when he was 19 years old and retired at the age of 34. It is safe to say he did something right in his career. He is just one of those players many forget donned a Braves uniform.
