We will give you five hints at a random player that donned an Atlanta Braves jersey and see if you can guess from there! Have fun and no cheating! Frankly, you should get this one. Here we go!

Hint #1: This player spent a total of 23 seasons in the MLB. He played for Cleveland, the Atlanta Braves, Texas Rangers, New York Mets, Tampa Bay Rays, Philadelphia Phillies, Chicago White Sox, and Milwaukee Brewers. 

Hint #2: This player wore jersey numbers: 15, 14, 23, 25, 18, and 4 throughout his career. With the Atlanta Braves, he wore jersey number 14.

Hint #3: In 1983 with Cleveland, this player finished 2nd in American League Rookie of the Year voting. He is a three time all-star. He racked up a total of five Silver Slugger Awards, won the batting title in 1991 with an absurd average of .341 and was an All-Star Game MVP.

Hint #4: Although, he is probably most known as a first basemen, this player also made appearances at second base and shortstop throughout his impressively long MLB career.

Hint #5: When this player comes up in conversation, it is almost always mentioned how he played into the later years of his life compared to most MLB players. He began his MLB journey back in 1982 at the age of 23 and remained in the league until he retired at the age of 49 following the 2007 season.

Answer: Julio Franco

Julio Franco debuted in the big leagues in 1982 with the Phillies. He joined the Atlanta Braves in 2001 and stayed through the 2005 season. He returned to the Braves for 15 games in 2007 to finish up his 23 season career.

In the two decades and three years Franco spent in the MLB, he hit .298 with 173 home runs and 1,194 runs batted in. He appeared in over 2,527 games with only 501 of those coming with the Atlanta Braves.

In his time with Atlanta specifically, Franco hit .291 with 29 home runs and 179 runs batted in across roughly 6 seasons.
