Answer: Jim Wynn
Jim Wynn began his MLB career in 1963 at the age of 21 with the Houston Colt .45s. He spent 11 of his 15 seasons with the Houston organization, seeing them make the transition to the Astros.
Wynn spent one season with the Atlanta Braves later in his career in 1976. After three all-star appearances earlier in his career, Wynn hit .207 with the Braves with 17 home runs and 66 runs batted in.
Jim Wynn went on to spend half of the 1977 with the New York Yankees and the other half with the Milwaukee Brewers before coming to the decision of retirement. Wynn tragically passed away in March of 2020 due to cardiac arrythmia at the age of 78.
