The Atlanta Braves are coming off a win in game one of their series with Philadelphia. Game one was filled with offense from both sides but ultimately, Atlanta came out on top thanks to an offensive outburst in the eighth inning.

They will send out Jared Shuster for game two as they look to take a 2-0 lead in the series with their division rivals. Austin Riley has started to pick things up offensively and has been a huge lift to the lineup. With Riley and Ozuna starting to figure things out, this offense has become much more dangerous.

Starters for Phillies at Braves Game Two

Jared Shuster will have his third start since being called up due to the injury to Max Fried and has struggled a little bit but faired much better in his last start against Seattle. Shuster finished after six innings allowing just one run on one hit with one walk and seven strikeouts.

That is an encouraging sign to see for Shuster as he was so good for the Braves in Spring Training. It would be great to see him regain that success and help the Braves cover important innings. They key to this is for him to lower the amount of walks issued and having better command of his pitches.

He will be opposed by Tijuan Walker who has struggled a bit for the Phillies as well. He currently is 3-2 with a 5.79 ERA. He went 5.1 innings allowing no runs on two hits including three walks and three strikeouts in his last outing against the Cubs.

His start before that only lasted 0.2 innings in San Francisco as he allowed four runs on four hits with two walks and one strikeout. So, he improved in his last start but has the potential to struggle as well. This offense is unrelenting so it's most definitely possible to put a crooked number up early. Either way, fans should expect to be treated to an interesting game.
