The Atlanta Braves ended their weekend on a high note as they took down the Pirates in convincing fashion by the score of 11-3. Michael Harris connected for this second home run of spring training and a bases-clearing double from Ehire Adrianza helped to put the game out of reach.

On the mound, Jared Shuster is making the competition for the last spot in the rotation really interesting. He went almost four innings while striking out five batters which a solo homer being the only real blemish. Shuster's impressive spring has put him squarely in the running for a spot in the Braves' big league rotation. It will be interesting to see how that competition plays out over the next couple of weeks.

It is still hard to make a ton of sense of the Braves' current competition out in left field as they have a few players that have played well. It does seem like Eddie Rosario will see a good bit of playing time out there, but there are going to be some opportunities for others to get some at-bats out there. Here is a look at why Eli White could end winning a roster spot and see some time in left.

While things in the Yankees' rotation are not going well as the injuries pile up, they have some more positive things going on out in the field. Anthony Volpe has fashioned himself into one of the better position prospects in all of baseball and his play this spring has him firmly in the running for New York's shortstop spot.

At one point, Craig Stammen had fashioned himself into a clubhouse leader and a very steady presence out of the bullpen. Unfortunately, a series of shoulder injuries including a pair of ailments this spring along with his age has many, including him, thinking that his career as a player has come to an end which is a shame.
