There's a happy ending
In 2014, McCann, now a member of the Yankees, and Gomez made up when they played each other that May.
B-Mac stated that he was over the incident, and that he respected the way Gomez played the game. "I think he plays hard every single night," the catcher said during the Yankees series in Milwaukee.
Gomez later stated that he had no hard feelings against McCann and understand why the Braves catcher did what he did.
But even more heartwarming is their reunion last year.
Seems like the Fun Police was more than okay with this interaction.
A few weeks after this picture was taken, Gomez was on Foul Territory where he explained the whole incident, from him calling he'd hit a homer to him running into McCann at a restaurant and asking the former catcher to put him in a headlock.
