After winning the 2021 World Series, the Atlanta Braves entered 2022 as the most requested in the game. The Yankees climbed back into first place in 2023 but demand for Atlanta Braves tickets grew by 50%, locking them into second to start the season, but by the time the season ended, tickets to see the Braves were once again top of the list.

Atlanta Braves ticket demand rises in 2024

You may have heard that the Dodgers made a big-name signing or two. Fueled by a dramatic increase in tickets from Japan, Dodgers tickets became the most demanded, followed by the Yankees, whose fans always expect success.

However, Ronald Acuña Jr.’s MVP season, Spencer Strider’s league-leading 281 strikeouts, Matt Olson’s league-leading 54 homers, and the team’s sixth consecutive division title continue to attract more fans.

Atlanta Braves most in-demand games

You’ve probably guessed that the Atlanta Braves are also part of one of the most-demanded home openers. Their opening joust with the Phillies on March 28th is the fourth on the list, behind the Cards - Dodgers and Cubs – Rangers the same day, and, for some reason, the Marlins Cards on April 4th is third.

The Braves game with the Phillies on March 30th and game two of Atlanta’s first home series Against the Diamondbacks on April 6th are among the top requested tickets for games other than season openers.

On the road, the Braves are the ninth biggest draw in MLB. Here’s that list.

• Los Angeles Dodgers

• New York Yankees

• Boston Red Sox

• Chicago Cubs

• Los Angeles Angels

• San Francisco Giants

• St. Louis Cardinals

• Philadelphia Phillies

• Atlanta Braves

• New York Mets

That’s a wrap

It hasn’t been easy to get a ticket to an Atlanta Braves game since 2019, and that’s a good thing.  If you’re planning to watch the Braves in person this season, I suggest planning ahead and checking on ticket availability often to get the best price.

2024 is set to be another special season and fans owe it to themselves to be a part of the action.
