The Braves took the first game in a series between the two teams with the best record in the National and American League. Thanks to Chris Sale's seven dominant innings, the Braves have continued to ride a hot starting rotation on their four game win streak.

Marcell Ozuna had another spectacular night, and Orlando Arcia homered for the second time last night. Tonight they'll face a stiffer challenge on the mound in the young Guardians pitcher.

Let's check out the starting lineups and pitchers for tonight's game.

Probable starting pitchers

Charlie Morton (2-0, 4.70 ERA) makes his fifth start of the year and looks to continue the impressive streak of starts from the Atlanta rotation. The veteran pitcher went six innings of two-run ball his last time out against the Texas Rangers.

Tanner Bibee (2-0, 4.44 ERA) is a promising young pitcher who finished runner-up in AL Rookie of the Year voting last season. In an obvious small sample size thus far in 2024, Bibee's found himself searching for some answers. Bibee has been excellent with his offspeed pitches, ranking in the 99th percentile in run value. However, opposite of that is the fact he is in the 1st percentile in fastball run value via Baseball Savant. For a Braves team that has notoriously hit the fastball well, that could spell trouble for Bibee.
