The countdown has begun as the Atlanta Braves prepare to host the 2025 MLB All-Star Game at Truist Park next Summer. There was a leak that appeared a few days ago of the logo but it was officially released before Monday night's game against the Reds.

Atlanta had a great pre-game celebration which included a parade through The Battery. There was also an on-the-field ceremony introducing the Braves alumni serving as All-Star Ambassadors for 2025 and the official unveiling of the All-Star Game logo.

The following Braves alumni were named ambassadors for the Midsummer Classic:

  • Bruce Benedict
  • Paul Byrd
  • Johnny Estrada
  • Glenn Hubbard
  • Tim Hudson
  • Brian Jordan
  • Jair Jurrjens
  • Ryan Klesko
  • Kevin Millwood
  • Leo Mazzone
  • Dale Murphy
  • Terry Pendleton
  • Gerald Perry
  • Ron Reed
  • Andruw Jones
  • John Smoltz
  • Jonny Venters
  • Mark Wohlers

There are some incredible names on that list and fans were treated to another incredible on-field moment as Chipper Jones threw out the first pitch to 2024 All-Star Marcell Ozuna. Jones' fellow alumni made sure the Hall-of-Famer threw from the top of the mound.

Chipper tossed a perfect strike to Ozuna to cap off what was a great pre-game ceremony. This is something Braves fans have been waiting for since 2000 when Atlanta last hosted the event.

As for the logo, an official press release by the team states that it "celebrates the Braves and their home in The Battery Atlanta, a premier sports and entertainment destination. The design highlights the architecture of the area and custom typography inspired by the Braves’ script, paying homage to their iconic brand. All these elements come together in a modern and dynamic way, bursting from a star, representing the stars that will be taking the stage next July."

Atlanta Braves President & CEO Derek Schiller was ecstatic about the logo reveal and can't wait to begin the preparation for the Midsummer Classic. Schiller stated, “This is an opportunity to showcase the culture and community that makes Braves Country special as we welcome millions of baseball fans to Atlanta. Once they visit, fans will understand how Truist Park and The Battery have become the paragon of sports and entertainment. We look forward to making this the best MLB All-Star Game yet.”

This is a special moment for the organization and the city of Atlanta. Fans will get a chance to see some of baseball's best in their own backyard. Events included during All-Star week are the MLB Futures Game, the 2025 MLB Draft, the T-Mobile Home Run Derby, and the All-Star Game itself.

Information about tickets and events happening next year will be released in the coming months. The 2025 ASG takes place on July 15th which feels like the perfect date as it is the same as the iconic 715 number Braves fans are very familiar with. That being the number of home runs the late Hank Aaron hit to break Babe Ruth's home run record 50 years ago.

It will be an incredible celebration next Summer in Atlanta when the All-Star festivities roll around. Fans interested can purchase select ASG merchandise featuring the newly revealed logo at the Braves Clubhouse Store at Truist Park and online. This includes t-shirts, hats, polos, and novelties.
