Atlanta Braves center fielder Michael Harris II has been on an absolute tear over the last week. Over the last 7 games, he has a .565 average that includes 13 hits. Four of those hits are homers with 9 RBI, two walks, and no strikeouts.
It looks like he and Tim Hyers have figured some things out, and Harris is back to being a force in the lineup. He continued to slug at the plate against the Nationals on Thursday afternoon. Harris was 3-for-4 with one double and two RBI.
Unfortunately, Harris was removed from the game after running the bases in the seventh inning. The Braves stated he was removed as a precaution with left quad tightness. That pesky injury bug is trying to cause drama for the Braves during an incredible stretch of wins, as Atlanta has yet to lose a series.

Michael Harris leaves Braves' win over Nationals early with quad tightness
This couldn't have come at a worse time for the talented outfielder. His slash line has become very impressive at .318/.356/.565 with 27 hits, including three doubles, six walks, 16 RBI, and a .921 OPS.
Atlanta couldn't have dreamed of a better performance from Money Mike. It's been a lot of fun to watch. Hopefully, this injury ends up being extremely minor, and he doesn't miss a lot of time. For the moment, it doesn't sound like the injury is considered serious given the precautionary tag, but it is definitely a situation worth monitoring.
The Braves really could use Harris this weekend against the Phillies. Philly is desperate for a win, and they'd love nothing more than to get revenge on the Braves at home.
