At this moment, you won't find anyone that Atlanta Braves fans revile more than Jurickson Profar. After receiving his second PED suspension in as many years, which he is appealing, Profar has become persona non grata among Braves fans. While Walt Weiss' reaction was somewhat tame, you can probably bet money on the clubhouse no longer being in his corner as well. However, the list of those who could be seen as "wronged" by Profar just keeps growing.
Before his suspension was announced, Profar was scheduled to play for Team Netherlands in the ongoing World Baseball Classic. In fact, Profar had already joined the team to prepare for the tournament when the news broke. Well, Profar's response to the news, relayed by a report from The Athletic, left something to be desired, particularly for his Dutch teammates.
Apparently Jurickson Profar jetted out as soon as he heard he was suspended

Didn’t even have the dignity to face the Netherlands teammates he let down

Jurickson Profar left Team Netherlands hanging after news of his suspension broke, and Braves fans can relate
Look, we already knew that Profar was a human toilet. This is Profar's second positive test; he swore up and down that he didn't know how it happened and that he took steps to ensure it wouldn't happen again, and he then proceeded to throw away any and all goodwill he had gained back. No surprises there at this point.
However, Profar actually found a new low here. On the eve of the World Baseball Classic, where his Team Netherlands teammates and coaches were presumably excited to play for their country. Instead, they had to deal with the questions and fallout of Profar's suspension and departure without even a word of explanation from the man itself. Gross...absolutely gross.
At this point, there is no world where the Braves can or should trust Profar in their clubhouse again. Barring the extremely unlikely scenario where Profar isn't actually at fault for his suspension somehow, he has repeatedly shown no regard for the rules or spirit of fair competition and instead has made selfish choices while showing no real accountability.
Maybe Profar will have a sensible explanation for both his positive test(s) and his reaction to the news at the WBC. However, everything points to Profar simply getting caught red-handed, and now he is just trying to hide from some of the consequences.
