The MLB trade deadline was a complete bust for the Atlanta Braves. They somehow found a way to be losers at the deadline, which unfortunately added to the already disappointing 2025 season. It was extremely frustrating as there were too many missed opportunities for Atlanta.

However, there was a ton of movement across the rest of baseball, and that included many former Braves being traded. Below, you will find a list of all of the former Braves who were moved during this year's MLB trade deadline.

Here is every former Atlanta Braves player traded at the 2025 trade deadline

Charlie Morton

Morton has defied all odds and continues to pitch well at the MLB level. A lot of fans expected he might retire after his 2024 season with the Braves. Things started off rough for Uncle Charlie in 2025, but he made adjustments and has quickly salvaged his season. He pitched well enough that the Detroit Tigers made a trade for him at the trade deadline in exchange for LHP Micah Ashman and cash considerations.

Ramón Laureano

Laureano was also traded by the Orioles at the trade deadline in a massive trade that included the former Braves outfielder. Atlanta not bringing him back after a pretty good season in 2024 was a bit strange, given that he played fairly well. He has continued to impress in 2025 with a .285 average over 86 games with 15 home runs and 46 RBI. He was part of a massive deal between the O's and Padres that featured 1B Ryan O'Hearn, RF Ramón Laureano, and cash being sent to San Diego in exchange for seven prospects.

Shelby Miller

Miller spent the first half of this season pitching for the Arizona Diamondbacks. He has pitched well out of the bullpen with a 1.98 ERA over 36.1 innings, including 11 walks and 40 strikeouts. He was included in a trade with Jordan Montgomery that sent both players to the Brewers. In exchange, Milwaukee received a player to be named later or cash considerations.

Michael Soroka

There was hope the Braves would reunite with Soroka after letting him go in a trade for Aaron Bummer ahead of the 2024 season. He revamped himself in the White Sox bullpen last season and signed as a starter with the Nationals for 2025. He has a 4.87 ERA over 81 innings pitched with 24 walks and 87 strikeouts. Soroka was traded to the Cubs at the deadline for SS Ronny Cruz and LF Christian Franklin.

Andrew Hoffmann

Braves fans likely don't remember Hoffman as he wasn't with the organization long. He was drafted by Atlanta in 2021 and was traded to the Royals just one year later. He was traded along with Drew Waters and CJ Alexander for CBA pick #35 in the 2022 draft. This pick was used to sign current Braves pitching prospect J.R. Ritchie. Hoffman was dealt from the Royals at the 2025 deadline to the Diamondbacks in exchange for OF Randal Grichuk.
