After yet another brutal stretch the last few weeks, the Atlanta Braves finally won a series again after taking two out of three earlier this week against the Brewers on the road. In a season with few bright spots, one hopes that that one breeds more in the coming weeks and Atlanta can save their season. A three game set at home against the Rockies normally would be just what the doctor ordered and the first game went rather well, some more rainy weather has arrived to intervene with those plans.

In Saturday's matchup, the Braves send Spencer Strider to the mound against one of the few offenses that you can immediately have confidence against no matter who is pitching and he takes on rookie Chase Dollander who has an ERA close to 7, but gave the Braves fits at the end of April. Unfortunately, we are going to have to wait for the Braves offense to disappoint us as this game is officially in a rain delay.

Braves vs. Rockies Rain Delay - 6/14: When will the game finally get started?

The weather forecast for the Atlanta area is pretty much a coin flip for most of the day which makes guessing when this game will start up or the if this game is going to get banged kind of tough. There is a big line of storms coming through, but the system does seem to be moving relatively quickly which gives some hope.

With as many rain delays without games getting called off as the Braves have had this year, expect them to try and get this game in especially with Colorado not coming back to Atlanta the rest of the season and no one being excited about having a doubleheader on Sunday. The afternoon start certainly helps the cause as well.

As the Braves release more details as to when this game will resume as well as any updates on the weather become available, this post will be updated with that information. Given the schedule and how the weather is behaving, you can probably expect to watch some Braves baseball today.
