Athletes have made cameos in music videos for decades, collaborating with artists from M.C. Hammer to Michael Jackson. However, Atlanta Braves superstar outdone any athlete/musician collaboration, taking it a step further during the NFL Super Bowl halftime show and likely accomplishing a first.

During musical artist Bad Bunny's Super Bowl LX performance, eagle-eyed fans noticed the familiar face on the stage standing next to rapper Young Miko and actor Pedro Pascal.

Ronald Acuña Jr. makes cameo Bad Bunny's Super Bowl LX halftime show

Believe it or not, this isn't the first time Ronald Acuña Jr. has been connected to the Puerto Rican international sensation. In 2024, Acuña signed with Rimas Sports, an agency led by Bad Bunny, for business and marketing related purposes.

At the time, the agency was weathering some controversy, and had been accused of providing improper benefits to players. Acuña's deal was not affected by the controversy because he wasn't signing with Rimas to represent his future contract negotiations.

Just last week, Rimas Sports inked a deal with iHeartMedia to produce podcasts hosted by Latino athletes, with the first show featuring Acuña. Still, even with the 2023 MVP's connections with Bad Bunny, as well as his presence in San Francisco during the Super Bowl, it's safe to say no one expected Acuña to be in the Super Bowl halftime show itself.

As Bad Bunny was performing on and around the casita during "Yo Perreo Solo", many viewers spotted celebrities like Pedro Pascal and Cardi B hanging out among the dangers. Baseball fans, however, were quick to point out Ronald Acuña Jr.

While it was certainly a blink and you miss it moment, it's certainly exciting that the Braves were represented during the biggest football game of the season. And of course, with the football season officially wrapping up, Acuña also indicated that it is indeed almost baseball season.
