Winners of eight of their last ten games, the Atlanta Braves have nearly fought their way back to the .500 mark after an 0-7 start to the season. This club isn't firing on all cylinders just yet, but as of late the offense has looked more like the elite offense we expected coming into the season.

In last night's 6-3 victory over the Rockies, each starting player in the lineup recorded a hit. That was just the second time all season the Braves have done that, the first coming on April 8 in their win against the Phillies. The slow rise in offensive production couldn't have come at a better time for Atlanta, who is still struggling to get consistent production from it's pitching staff.

The Braves will wrap up this rollercoaster month with a couple more games against the struggling Rockies. Hopefully with a series sweep of Colorado, they can flip the calendar to May with a .500 record and what would feel like a fresh start. Importantly, the month of May features series against the Dodgers, Padres, Red Sox (twice), and Phillies so playing better baseball is a very welcome sight.

Braves getting production up and down the lineup

The Braves recent hot streak has coincided with the promotion of Alex Verdugo, who immediately slotted nicely into the leadoff spot. On top of that, Nick Allen and Eli White have really been solid at the bottom of the order to lengthen this lineup.

Braves fans have to feel relieved with results thus far on the road trip. Previously, Atlanta had really struggled on the road in 2025 and another subpar performance on the west coast would have allowed a streaking Mets team to really open up a lead in the NL East.

If you look at the season numbers for most of the Braves regulars you'd probably be a little underwhelmed. But the fact of the matter is guys like Matt Olson have hit the ball pretty hard all year long, and it was only a matter of time before the results followed. Austin Riley, Sean Murphy, and recently Michael Harris II have each had their big moments to help spur the Braves to victory. Hopefully, more of the same is in line as the Braves look to clinch the series victory tonight against German Marquez and the Rockies.
