The 23 year-old Salinas was originally part of the Sean Murphy trade just a couple years prior. Now the right-handed pitcher is returning to Atlanta after he was claimed off waivers. Salinas pitched to a 4.60 ERA in 10 starts across the A's Double-A and Triple-A affiliates.

Major League Baseball expected to test out ball-strike challenge system next Spring Training

After numerous blown calls baseball fans witnessed during the 2024 postseason it seems Major League Baseball is taking a much needed step towards improving the on-field product.

INF Cavan Biggio elects for free agency

Unless a later offseason deal occus it seems Cavan Biggio's stint with the Braves is going to be a short-lived one. Biggio came over last season when Atlanta was scavenged by injuries, and appeared in just four games with the club.

Biggio was projected a modest salary in arbitration, so it was very likely he was going to be non-tendered anyway. It's likely the Braves will look to fill the bigger questions on their roster before signing talent that would serve as organizational depth.
