The Atlanta Braves have been working hard to ensure fans have a way to enjoy their favorite team this season. After things fell apart with Main Street Sports, Atlanta had a very important decision to make for broadcasts.

Ultimately, the team decided to begin their own streaming platform for BravesVision TV broadcasts. Braves.TV will host the games, and fans will be able to subscribe to view all regular-season non-national Braves games. The best part about this is that there are no blackouts for in-market viewers.

Fans finally received word on the cost of the streaming platform, and it's extremely reasonable.

Braves reveal price for new streaming platform, and it's surprisingly reasonable

A season subscription to Braves.TV will cost fans $99.99 for the season, or for $19.99 monthly. Braves.TV subscribers won't have access to MLB.TV games, unless they purchase an additional subscription.

This subscription to Braves.TV gives fans access to live and on-demand streaming of over 140 regular-season games.

Games will also be available in local markets via cable and satellite. Atlanta's FAQ section of the site states, "Through a direct-to-distributor model, the Braves will partner with cable, satellite, and streaming services to provide BravesVision to their customers. The Braves will provide an update on availability and channel locations as distributor deals are finalized."

The Braves have provided a map online, so fans know if they are in fact within Atlanta's home television territory. States include Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, and part of North Carolina.

The Braves will also partner with Gray Media to air a select number of regular-season games over-the-air for free in Atlanta and across the Southeast through Gray’s network of broadcast stations. Those over-the-air games will be announced before Opening Day.

In a perfect world, fans would be able to see these games for free. However, that is not the case, and fans will have to settle for the next best thing. Considering how many games fans will have access to, the $99.99 price tag seems like a great deal. A full release of where fans can watch games will be coming at some point. We will let you know once the Braves announce more information.
