The Atlanta Braves were able to salvage a win in their series finale with the Yankees. It was a hard- fought series, and it felt like the scales could tip for either team at a moment's notice. Every game was close, but the Braves managed to squeak out one win for a happy flight back to Atlanta. Now, they'll face their hated rivals from Queens at Truist Park.
The Mets have been one of the worst teams in baseball this season, and we love it. However, they've been a slight thorn in the side of Atlanta. New York is 6-4 against the Braves this season, and this is the final series of the season between both sides. Atlanta will look to sweep the Mets so they can have bragging rights for the season series.
Unfortunately for the Mets, the Braves are back at full strength offensively. Seeing the lineup card for Monday's game only highlighted how much Atlanta was missing due to injuries.

Braves are showing that their best lineup is probably with both Sean Murphy and Drake Baldwin in it against the Mets
Drake Baldwin, Ronald Acuna Jr, and Sean Murphy were all missing at one point this year. Having all three of them back seems like a trick, but it could bode very well for the Braves.
Baldwin has continued to rake against opponents, and Acuna Jr. is slowly heating up with three homers in his last seven games. Murphy has only played in two games since coming back from his injury. He has a lot to prove to show the Braves he's worth keeping around. His bat hasn't been worth a lot the last couple of years, but Murphy still calls an excellent game behind the dish.
Despite that underperformance, just having his bat in the lineup helps. When Murphy's at his best, he is a sneaky home run threat. Batting ninth in the lineup should help take some pressure off him. Having Baldwin, Acuna, and Olson at the top of the lineup feels like an absolute cheat code. Let's just hope they can all stay healthy so the team can reap the benefits of having them all back.
