The spectacle that Truist Park and the surrounding Battery has become is something the Atlanta Braves are very proud of. Other organizations admire the Braves model, and outside concerts and events regularly come through the Truist Park experience. One of the biggest events across the country nowadays is the Georgia native Savannah Bananas live events and Braves fans will get to enjoy them again soon.
After another year of resounding success, the Bananas just announced their 2026 World Tour. This tour will take place across 75 different stadiums throughout 45 different states, and Truist Park is one of the ballparks that will host the Bananas in 2026. The Bananas will take on the Party Animals at Truist Park on Friday May 8, 2026.
Savannah Bananas set to play at Truist Park once again
Because the Bananas began their operation in Georgia, this will not be the first time they have played baseball at Truist Park. However, it will be the first time they are playing there since they began selling out 80,000 capacity college football stadiums. The 2026 tour will feature stops at a couple 100,000 seated stadiums like Kyle Field, home of the Texas A&M Aggies.
As Bananas owner Jesse Cole continues to mold his squad into a worldwide sensation, Banana ball will see the addition of two new squads next season. The Indianapolis Clowns and Loco Beach Coconuts will enter the fold next year with the latter being lead by their new part-time coach and former two-time World Series champion Shane Victorino.
The Bananas continue to grow in fandom and celebrity support by the day, and they clearly have the ability to sellout some of the biggest stadiums in the country. The fact that they choose to still hold games at Truist Park is a testament to their loyality to Georgia and what the Braves have built with the Battery. The Bananas still use the lottery system for tickets so if you're hoping to attend the game at Truist be sure to sign up for the chance to purchase tickets via the Bananas official website.
