It wasn't the big signing or trade Atlanta Braves fans have been holding their breath for all offseason, but on Monday morning, the team did announce a huge surprise. After seasons of only offering a limit selection of Spring Training games, the club announced a huge increase in televised games in 2025.
This Spring Training, the Braves will now broadcast 26 of their 30 games through FanDuel Sports Network (formerly Bally Sports), Gray Media, and Braves.com
How to watch 2025 Braves Spring Training games
Unlike the regular season, where the Braves play one on station the entire season (unless it's a nationally televised game), the club will be airing games on three different platforms.
Only seven of the 26 games will be aired on FanDuel Sports Network, the club's regular season station. The first of these games will air on March 2 against the New York Yankees.
An additional 10 games will be broadcasted on Gray Media. Earlier in the offseason, the team reached a multi-year agreement to simulacast 15 regular season games and broadcast additional Spring Training games.
Gray Media's first game will air on February 27, and the broadcasting company will also air the Braves Spring Training Breakout Game against the Detroit Tigers, where the top prospects from both teams will face off against each other.
Lastly, nine Spring Training games will air for free on Braves.com, MLB.TV, and the MLB App. These are any of the remaining home games that aren't broadcasted by FanDuel Sports Network or Gray Media. The team has done this over the last couple of Spring Trainings.
This is a huge increase from last season, as the team ranked second-to-last in Spring Training games televised, according to Thomas Nestico of TJ Stats.
