AL Central

Detroit Tigers – RHP Joe Jimenez (December 7, 2022)

The AL Central begins here with a recent move when the Braves acquired Jimenez, a veteran relief pitcher, as well as cash from the Detroit Tigers back on December 7. In return, Atlanta sent a pair of minor leaguers, 3B Justyn-Henry Malloy and LHP Jake Higginbotham, to the Tigers.

Chicago White Sox – OF Tyler Neslony (July 11, 2021)

Atlanta’s latest deal with the White Sox came back on July 11, 2021, with the Braves sending Neslony to Chicago. Neslony, a minor league outfielder, is still with the White Sox organization.

Cleveland Guardians – OF Eddie Rosario (July 30, 2021)

One of the more notable Atlanta Braves’ trades in recent years is this one with the then Cleveland Indians on July 30, 2021, as the club acquired Rosario and cash at the 2021 MLB trade deadline for Pablo Sandoval. Rosario is still with the Braves, with the veteran outfielder’s time in Atlanta being headlined by his 2021 postseason, one that included the NLCS MVP along the way to the Braves winning the World Series.

Kansas City Royals – Pick No. 35 in 2022 MLB Draft (July 11, 2022)

A unique trade compared to each of the other teams on this list, the Braves last trade with Kansas City came this past July in a deal in which Atlanta acquired the No. 35 overall pick in the 2022 MLB Draft in exchange for three minor leaguers – OF Drew Waters, RHP Andrew Hoffmann, and 3B CJ Alexander. With the pick, the Braves would go on to select high school RHP JR Ritchie, who is currently Atlanta’s No. 3 overall prospect according to MLB Pipeline.

Minnesota Twins – OF Ryan LaMarre (September 8, 2019)

Concluding the AL Central is a move with the Twins, as Atlanta traded LaMarre to Minnesota back on September 8, 2019 for cash. LaMarre would go on to play in 14 games for the Twins during the 2019 season.
